This classic Asian dish with its versatile filling is fun to make and tastes delicious. We enjoy our dumplings pan-fried and served with a homemade dipping sauce.
STEP ONE – Preparations
- Get out a cast iron pot, a large frying pan, a medium pot, and a steamer basket.
- Get out a small bowl.
STEP TWO – Press the Tofu
1 block extra-firm tofu
- Wrap the tofu in paper towels and place the cast iron pan on top for 15 minutes to press out some of the moisture.
- Assemble the rest of the ingredients while the tofu is pressing.
STEP THREE – Prepare the Filling
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
5 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons red chili paste
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
5 green onions
