This classic Asian dish with its versatile filling is fun to make and tastes delicious. We enjoy our dumplings pan-fried and served with a homemade dipping sauce.

STEP ONE – Preparations

  1. Get out a cast iron pot, a large frying pan, a medium pot, and a steamer basket.
  2. Get out a small bowl.

STEP TWO – Press the Tofu

Ingredients:

1 block extra-firm tofu

Instructions:

  1. Wrap the tofu in paper towels and place the cast iron pan on top for 15 minutes to press out some of the moisture.
  2. Assemble the rest of the ingredients while the tofu is pressing.

STEP THREE – Prepare the Filling

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
5 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons red chili paste
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
5 green onions

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in the large pan over medium heat.
